Happy Taco School: Day 3 -Science Day

After only three days, Fiona has caught on to our little experiment. The first thing she said to me while trying to pull the trash bag out of the trash bin in her room was, "Want to go to school".

Today we did learned a little of how animals keep warm in the cold. We did the classic Crisco in ice water activity. This is all a little deep for a two year old, but I thought she would enjoy the sensory experience of it all and play with the Crisco.

She liked the water, but not the shortening on her hand. After I caked it all on her hand, she just held it there in mid-air and said, "Messy" and asking for a napkin.

Perhaps next time I'll find something more agreeable for her:)
